Martin Franz Rudolf Erwin Lange ( Weißwasser , Germany , 18 of April of 1910 - Poland , 6 of February of 1945 ) was a military German of Nazi Germany . Official of the SS with the rank of Mayor (SS Sturmbannführer ). He participated in the Wannsee Conference , the 20 of January of 1942 where the extermination of the Jews was decided during the Second World War .
Lange was the Commander of the Sicherheitsdienst or SD Gestapo in Poznan from 27 of January of 1945 until February 1945. Promoted to SS Standartenführer the 30 of January of 1945 . Died in combat in Poznan , Poland against the Red Army on 6 February as as 1945 .
