Sönke Neitzel

Sönke Neitzel (June 26, 1968) is a German historian who has written extensively on World War II . 1 Professor of History at the University of Mainz , having also held positions at the University of Karlsruhe , the University of Bern , and the University of the Saarland , 2 and exercising at the Chair of Modern History at the University of Glasgow from September He is currently the editor of German History in the 20th Century and is the author of seven books, including Tapping Hitler’s Generals and Soldaten , 3 published in Spain under the title Soldiers of the Third Reich, testimonies of struggle, death and crime . 4
