Simon Wiesenthal Center

The Simon Wiesenthal Center is an institution dedicated to documenting the victims of the Holocaust and keeps records of Nazi war criminals and their respective activities. It is located in Los Angeles , United States , and named after Simon Wiesenthal , the famous ” Nazi hunter ” Austrian .

With the gradual physical disappearance of the participants of World War II , the center has become a watchdog and whistle-blower of anti-Semitic activities around the world.

The headquarters of the Simon Wiesenthal Center is located in Los Angeles . There are also international offices in the following cities: New York , Miami , Toronto , Jerusalem , Paris and Buenos Aires .

Library and files

The library and archives of downtown Los Angeles have grown to have a collection of about 50,000 volumes and unprinted material. In addition, archives include rare photographs , journals , letters , artifacts , illustrations, and books , which are also available to researchers , students, and the general public.
